Family isn't something that's supposed to be static, or set. People marry in, divorce out. They're born, they die. It's always evolving, turning into something else.

I've been a part of a family for a few years now and I can say that our family is not a static entity. When I was 17 years old I met my first cousin whom I never met before and we became friends instantly. We both had grown up with our mothers and there was no reason for us to keep our friendship as we were both already having a strong one with our mothers as well as other relatives. In the meanwhile, my cousin got married and I was invited to the wedding as it seemed like his son was going to be baptized at the same day as mine.

But due to some issues and because she and I were close together in age, we decided to go ahead and join the wedding as well. At the time we decided to go ahead and attend it, we knew that we would probably not stay together forever but we didn't think much about it. We just felt that we were doing what's right for us at the time and so we went ahead with it.

Two years later when my cousin divorced her husband and started dating another guy, she invited her children to her new boyfriend's house so that they could meet him all together for the first time since they got back together without any prior knowledge about each other and she also invited me since I used to live with them (and still do) and also because she knew me from my high school days when she was still living with her mother (before she met my cousin). We both stayed at her boyfriend's house for a week but then we decided that we wanted to return home as it would be better for us if we did so as well as earlier than expected. That's when things really got complicated... My cousin told me that she wanted us all to move out of their house because she wasn't happy with how things were going between her and her new boyfriend (they would fight all the time) but due to financial reasons (she always had financial problems) they didn't know how long they could afford themselves without getting on public assistance (which would not be good for them financially).

I said yes but then she changed her mind saying that she can't do it because she wanted us all in one place (not more than one place) while at the same time telling me that "I am not welcome at
